Due to the constraints of the site, there was a need for our client to raise the necessary funds, and the very specific planning conditions which come with building in a green space in Sheffield. Once obtained, we provided design advice, cost plans and tailor-made solutions to ensure the demands of the local authorities, the ECB and the client were all satisfied. It wasn’t an easy task, but it was a rewarding one!

The project was a full new build construction from the piled foundations, with a natural stone facade, slate roofs, and the last lick of paint. We carried out the build over the winter months, starting when the season ended and offering the structure back ready for the new cricket season. The project was a full design and build, working alongside the club to deliver a bespoke solution to a long-term problem, with very specific needs.
